Booking policies

At the time of booking your stay, the total amount of the reservation will be debited (including GST/QST and 3.5% tax on lodging). We accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal payments.

An email containing your personalized access code as well as a guide with useful information will be sent to you 2 to 5 days before your arrival.

Check-out : 11AM
Late departure or early arrival may be requested and will be considered subject to availability. There are no additional costs.

You can cancel with full refund or reschedule your stay free of charge up to 30 days before your arrival date. NO refund will be granted in the 30 days preceding your first night, regardless of the reason.

Curfew: A curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. It is permitted to enjoy the spa and/or the outdoor fireplace and to listen to music at a low volume, but we ask that you remain respectful of others and keep the noise level as low as possible.
Spa: A few rules of use apply. Thank you for helping us keep our spas in a healthy and safe condition.

• Take a quick shower before using the spa, especially if you have previously applied cream or body oil
• Ensure constant supervision of children, the spa is easily accessible from the balcony, be vigilant and keep the cover closed!
• Always close the cover in order to keep the heat and ensure the safety of the premises. Do not walk on the cover.
• Close the jets after use
• Do not bring any food and use plastic glasses when you want to bring a drink.
• Do not enter with dirty feet (soil, sand or rocks)
• No smoking around the spa
• Do not add anything to the spa, we ensure maintenance and sanitizer levels so that they remain safe. Someone might come by during the day, outside to make checks or adjustments.
• Contact us if any problem arises, we are here for you!

Outdoor fireplace: An outdoor fireplace is installed for your use on your balcony.

• Make sure nothing is left on the edge of the fireplace while it is lit.
• Instructions for lighting the fireplace will be accessible in your dome.
• A timer is installed on each fireplace allowing you a maximum cycle of 30 minutes. The cycle can be restarted at your convenience, this timer is installed in order to prevent a fireplace from remaining on for several hours and causing a fire.
• It is forbidden to move the fireplace due to the risk of fire.
• Wood fires are strictly prohibited on the site, we reserve the right to evict offenders without refund.

Fireworks: Lighting any kind of fireworks is strictly prohibited. It is about the safety and respect of all. Violators will be expelled immediately without refund.
Maximum occupancy: Our domes are designed to accommodate a maximum of 6 people (children and adults combined) at a time. They have a king bed, a queen bed and a double Murphy bed. A playpen can be provided to you on request at no cost.
Cigarettes and related products: Our domes are strictly smoke-free. It is therefore forbidden to smoke in the dome, on the outdoor patio or in the spa. It is also forbidden to dispose of cigarette butts on the site anywhere other than in the ashtrays provided for this purpose. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in a surcharge of $250 plus additional cleaning and/or repair costs.
Pets: Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on site.
Outdoor environment: Experience Equinox is located in the forest and close to lakes. It is therefore essential to make sure you respect nature and the place because the environment can become fragile if we do not pay great attention to it. Our mission is to allow everyone to benefit from it and discover the wonders of nature while minimizing our impact.
It is forbidden to leave any trace of your visit on the site or in the surrounding forest (waste, cigarette butts, cans, rubbish, etc.)
We strongly encourage hiking, please stay on the trails provided for this purpose and take advantage of the many accessible hiking trails nearby (see the “What to do” section or contact us for more details)
Outdoor Equipment: Seasonal outdoor equipment is available to all of our guests at no additional charge. They are located outside the service building. Please make appropriate use of it and make sure to put it back in place between each of your uses so that everyone can benefit from it.
Boats and neighboring lakes: The health of the lakes is a high priority for us. In order to ensure their safety and the preservation of the environment, the surrounding municipalities require a washing certificate (from a washing station) which is required before accessing the public access ramps with your boat. There are also several places where you can rent several types of properly washed boats. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information on this subject.
Lost Items: Experience Equinox assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, broken or damaged personal items. If, following your departure, you discover that you have misplaced an object of value for you, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to help you find it and return it to you by mail, at your expense. Unclaimed items will be kept for a period of 10 days and then donated to a local charity.
Coffee/tea and other products: A Nespresso Vertuo machine is provided in each dome. We supply 8 capsules for stays of 2 nights and 12 capsules for stays of 3 or more nights. You will also find a kettle and a small variety of tea/herbal tea/hot chocolate. In addition, certain products are provided for your stay. Dish soap, 3 rolls of toilet paper, paper towel, cooking oil, sugar/salt and pepper, hand soap, garbage bags, shampoo and body soap
Cleaning: Full cleaning, following your departure, is included in your price. You still have some small responsibilities before you leave:

• Wash and put away the dishes
• Empty garbage cans and recycling and deposit them in the bins provided for this purpose at the exit of the site

Experience Equinox is a self-catering resort accommodation, so room service is not offered as at a hotel. You are responsible for keeping the premises clean during your stay. You will find 6 towels/washcloth and 2 hand towels as well as 3 dish towels. Bedding will be installed in beds, warm blankets will also be available in your dome. A change of bedding or towels can be made on request for longer stays (5 nights and more).
Winter season: Our domes are accessible in winter season. The same services are offered (spa, outdoor fireplace, BBQ, among others). However, during a storm, the stairs and paths may not be completely clear during your travels. Be careful. In addition, our site is located at the top of a mountain so our access road is on a passable slope but could be slippery during the winter period despite snow removal and sanding, we recommend that you have winter tires in good condition and all-wheel drive. Use caution and do not hesitate to contact us if needed, we are here to help you.

These terms and conditions constitute the contract between Experience Equinox and the cardholder registered at the time of booking. By confirming your booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted all the conditions relating to it.
Experience Equinox reserves the right to refuse to serve or rent to anyone who violates these rules.
Equinox Experience is not responsible for any illnesses related to COVID-19. The highest standards of maintenance, cleaning and disinfection are applied to allow you a safe stay.
Experience Equinox has various security cameras on site for security purposes. Out of respect for your privacy, no cameras are installed inside the domes or towards the spa areas.
Experience Equinox is not responsible for any theft or loss during your stay.
Experience Equinox reserves the right to modify, add, remove any clause in this document at any time and without notice. Check this section periodically for updates to our terms and conditions. Any changes to this document that occur before your arrival are considered part of your rental contract at Experience Equinox
